This morning at 03:00 hrs Kevin Newton did our first regular run between Chorley & Preston hospitals. Agreement to do this was reached at a recent meeting of the Facilities Managers at Royal Preston Hospital. The hospital has asked that we help them out more as with all hospitals they have to save a great deal of money. Well done Kevin.

Saturday 9th February 2013, members Lee Townsend and Al Boyle organised a bash for NWBB L&L at the Coach and Horses pub in Freckleton. Fantastic night, made even better by the staff at the Coach & Horses, locally known as "Ponkies", with great raffle prizes and and great duo group.

A meeting with Blackpool Victoria Hospital department heads took place on Thursday 7th February 2013 which was very positive. The prospects look really good and we are likely to set up a few test runs first. Full story at Members Notice Board

The guys were at ASDA Bolton on Sunday 3rd February 2013 and between them collected £453. Thanks to the generosity of the public and ASDA, without who's help we cannot operate.

We crossed the 400 run barrier on Sunday 3rd February 2013, well done everyone. Next step is 500 and considering this is our first year of operating, it's pretty impressive. We currently have 4 permanent hospitals and several ad hoc ones. Well done to everyone.

This weekend in a period of 26 hours, Saturday evening to Sunday evening we completed 9 runs, most in the Western Area, but Central too. One rider on Saturday finished one run only to be sent to another straight away.
